The Lyndhurst Dads’ Club offers the opportunity for Rec players to play on a tournament team in addition to your regular team. Tournament play can be an exciting and rewarding experience. It is, however, different from the LDC Recreation League play. Tournament play is a competitive environment and as a player you and your team should be prepared to play at a higher level of competition. Players must try out and be selected for the tournament team. Tournament team players MUST be registered with LDC in the Rec program. 

There is no cost to tryout. After tryouts are complete, the committee will finalize the roster which will l consist of no more than 12 players. Players who make the tournament team will be assessed a fee of $125. Included with this fee is entrance into 3 tournaments, a jersey, hat and socks.


Tryouts will be held on Saturday, April 1, for the Mighty Mites, Minors, and Majors tournament teams. 

The tryouts will be at Welser Gym. 

Team eligibility is determined by the player's age on May 1. Because this is a different cutoff date than our rec leagues, younger players could be eligible for two teams; the team for their league, and the next younger team. You can try out for both but can only play on one. 

Mighty Mite 8U at 11:45 A.M. (8 years old or younger on May 1, 2023)
Minors 10U at 12:30 P.M. (10 years old or younger on May 1, 2023)
Majors 12U at 1:15 P.M. (12 years old or younger on May 1, 2023)
